We started the clearing and underbrush mulching with Nathan of S&N Mulching out of Groveton, Texas – on July 2nd. Chancy and Mike are working on raising and clearing the roots out of the roadway now too. The two new culverts are in and the ditches are getting cut for drainage.

Fill from the pond excavation will raise the road, the yard and the bulkhead backfill up 2-3 feet above where it was when we started. When we are finally done the pond should be a good 25 feet deep. Then we will build the swimming and fishing pier with a zip line and a swing. But the main swing will be on the boathouse. More on that later~!
