Houston County Lake - The Crockett Family Resort Marina Replacement Project - Small slip marina on one of the better fishing lakes in East Texas. We removed the old marina built in the 1980's and replaced it with this new layout.
We started this project out by driving schedule 80 hot-dip galvanized steel pipe pilings - capped by a schedule 120 pipe cap, welded out and on the upper end was welded a 1" thick plate - for the hammer to drive on.
The water is from 6 to 18 feet deep.
Our newest project is our most exciting one in years~!!! Originally posted as a 57,500 square feet project - and even though that would have immediately been the largest marina on Lake Livingston - by a considerable amount - it just got a WHOLE LOT LARGER.
We did all of the original designs and drew up all the plans for Lakeside Marina. We completely excavated the entire L-Shaped harbor.
We also installed all of the new bulkheads from the highway past the boat slips, and completely around the harbor stopping at the inside corner of the peninsula.
